early marriage

Semalam entah apa pangkalnya, Mdm Faizah, pensyarah EOP kami bercakap tentang kahwin awal. Dia nasihatkan kami supaya kalau boleh, elakkan dari kahwin awal.

Bila ditanya mengapa, Mdm cakap, "Our preference sometimes changes. Maybe this time you prefer this than this, next time others."

'CEO' kami, AbdulRahman bangkang juga. Dia ni dah ada dua orang anak. Jangan tanya berapa orang isteri.

"But, Madam, isn't marriage makes someone be more mature?"

"Yes, it is an advantage for married people. Because they have responsibilities they have to carry. If they are not responsible, then who will feed their children?”

"When you get married in early age, you will be satisfied with what you have. I have my wife and kids, what else should I go for? You know..?" Sambungnya.

"How old are you guys now?"

Kami sama-sama jawab, "23."

"Ah, still young. The ladies should get married at youngest of 25. And the guys… 30"

"What? OMG! 30 madam?" teriak seorang pelajar Indonesia dalam kelas tu.

"Yea. For now, just focus on what you want for your career. Get a job and a good salary. Spend it for your parents' hajj and umrah. Build your life first. Then, you can start thinking about getting married."

Apa pendapat kalian?

Hurm. Bangkang jugak!!! Hehe.

Kalau orang tu umur 30 tahun tapi still takde responsibilities sangat, bleh gak soal "who will feed your children?"

Hurm. Alasan tak kukuh. Geramnya. Huhu.

Salam
That was me alright...
It probably was in one of my many EOP classes and you know what triggered that...students who made up reasons for not coming to class or for not having done tasks they were supposed to .The reason being..i've got family and responsibilities as husband/wife...

Ok sapa tadi yg nk bagi flying kick meh sini...

Ish..ish..ish...They didn't do their homework by giving such reason is a lame excuse. Pretty lame if you didn't do your tasks because you got family to be responsible to. Escape clause ke apa ni...thanks madam, baru lah saya tahu hujung pangkal citer nyer..hehe.

Nasib baik madam kt overseas kalau tak, dah kena denda dah kawan yg nak bagi flying kick tu.
